Heated coop, it's raining and 30 some degrees out... Meatheads are out in the run(open door to coop).. freezing rain, shivering, huddled, fluffed, cold foot dancing at fence wanting to come out and range! Is this normal stupid or our mine special?

Our first layer "Red"(rsl) is laying like clockwork from 8-8:30am(med dark brown) Our second layer(Dont know who..lol) is around 5pm(xsm tan) Now we start the monitoring to find the culprits We have 20 so we gotta hurry before the egg gates open up..lol

Hi, My local feed store has a run full of chicks(at least a hundred) from 2days old to 2wks old. It's a complete mix and strait run leftovers from chick breeder/farm no-sales, Store owner has no idea what breeds he got, is no help.. Probably at least six different breeds in run and there only...

Tore down an old shed(cypress),planed some, used pressure treated for base. 8x8 coop, 10x20 run Window shutters for sides, back look identical to egg window. OK..For the record..The tall ladder wouldn't fit between coop and fence.. Thats my story and I'm stickin to it Lucky my boy waited...
