    Help!!!!!

Help me!! My girl had a soft shell egg stuck in her. I pulled it out but I don’t know if it broke in her. There was yolk in the coop and down her butt. I took her and cleaned it with warm water and I have isolated her.

Hi there. First time chicken mom. Is this molting or is this something serious? She is acting normal except she has stopped laying eggs about 3 weeks ago.

    Newbie

Ok this is my first flock of chickens. I have 4 hens and 1 rooster. When my girls start laying what happens if the rooster has got to them? Do the eggs need to be picked up right away? Do they know if one is fertilized? How long does it take for a chick to grow and hatch? I have so many...

    Huddling together

So it was my chicks first night in the coop. They have been acting normal but I just went and checked on them and they’re all huddled together. It’s 69 in the coop, could they be cold or is this normal behavior when they move? Picture attached

    First night in the coop

Ok well tonight’s the night. I am so nervous that they’re too cold. But the thermometer says 70 in there so I think they should be fine. Also when do they learn to roost? I attached pictures in case anyone has any constructive criticism! Thank you

    Pine shavings?

Very carefully lol the coop is about 300 lbs alone plus the roost is about 60 lbs and that platform I’d say weighs about 50-60 lbs maybe more. I will definitely have to call in back up to help me 😳

No built in run yet. They will be free ranging all day. The concrete pad is on the side of my house.
