    well here is my problem... I have chickens and my definition of having chickens is a constant struggle to keep them contained... They would be fine free ranging but they like to visit the neighbor's yard.. directly under a big tree that has mouth watering birdseed... all would be fine and dandy...

    Thanks... I tired treating her but she drowned in the water dish (I guess she gave it up) my friend is treating her chicken's sniffles with something that is "expensive" so I think that the rooster will be fine... thanks for helping

    Hi everyone, I have a barred rock hen that has both eyes swelled shut, I think she can see a little bit because she does eat sometimes but what should I do with her eyes... one might have been infected because it swelled up to the size of her head almost.     Ok thanks guys thats a lot o digest but It helps a little, I wish my neighbors that spray pesticides would not have bird feeders so that my hens could be considered free ranged.. If they would stay were they are supposed to be I could get a better price on it, it seems to me but I don't know...

    Ok thanks my brooder decided that after a week of being in a broody box with her chicks that it was all that she could take and she went outside, I put up a little ramp going out of the coop so the chicks could walk outside if needed. At the time they were flying on their own so I wasn't worried...

    Um... Stop the blood vessels from poping is the only solution I can think of, but that doesn't help you... I have no idea but It was interesting to figure out what caused that natural occurrence to happen... thanks...

I have made a Semi rock solid fenced in area and I think that It has kept most of them in (same fence but I just tied it all up with some Floral wire (handy stuff BTW)) I have one weak point in my fence though.... well 3 actually...
