    Besides showing and brooders what else are silkies good for? I know they are great pets, but what else? I have 6 that I bought from TSC not knowing that they were silkies.     They do have black skin I think, it looks like it. They dont seem puffy enuff for silkies. Can they be crossed with something else.

    I bought some bantams form TSC but not sure what kind they are. What kind does TSC normally sell? They all have feathered feet and are yellow and redish brown now. They have black feet and four and half toes with black beaks. I dontk know how to upload a pic of them. What are they?

    TSC Bantams?

    My bantam chicks from TSC all have dark beaks and dark feet. The feet are lightly feathered and they have 4 and half toes. Three are yellow and three are kinded redish brown. I dont know to post pics up or I would. What are your thoughts as to what they mite be?

    Never had brahma before they are now almost two weeks. Should they have a roost? They are living with my CXs now but will be seperated soon. Do I raise them any different then my CXs? Help!!

    thanks for the info. I only plan on gettting about 10 birds all together, 8 meaties and then 2 or so dual purpose or something similar.

    I just broke down and bought one. Seems to work good, I had to cut the wings off the 1 cause it wouldn't fit in the bag.
