Have you tried a little bit of hard boiled egg yolk? I found that my 3 marans did not want to eat much until day 3, unlike my other chicks. I was really worried for 3 days, but then they started eating tons. Hope your little one does the same.

Cute babies! My little Marans did the same thing. Seemed like I could not get them to eat much for about 2 days. Then they eat really well, and 4 weeks later they are still doing great. You might try some egg yolk. Good luck!

Yes. We ground that up (lots of work) until we found the "chick grit". Also heard others say they give them play sand.
