    Damaged feet

I will try and put down some more straw in their coop but I can’t put as much as you did unfortunately. As for the rocks, I might be able to block off the area where the rocks are. What method did you use because I can’t keep soaking their feet everyday and then putting neosporin and socks. I...

    Damaged feet

They normally walk around my yard all day which is just grass and in their coop it’s dirt because nothing grows in it.

    Damaged feet

Hello, I have two pekin ducks and I’ve discussed this before but it’s gotten worse. My ducks both originally were limping and had small black spots forming on their feet. People told me it was a beginning to bumble foot and how to treat it. For months I did the same exact thing every day and...

    Bumble foot questions

Hello so I have two pekin ducks and I’ve had a bumble foot problem with them for I would say 2 to 3 weeks and it seems to be getting better but I cannot get the scab off simply because I can’t find the scab. There is a bump on the foot but what looks like the scab is actually just the skin. I...

    Ducks gave eggs!

Hello! My pekin ducks just recently gave me two eggs and I’m very excited! I was wondering what I could do to improve the egg quality. They’re currently on a layers feed.

Is this ok for the antiseptic? My mom said it’s pretty much like Neosporin but I wanted to check with you guys before I put it on.

Thank you so much. I think my other duck might have bumblefoot because I just checked both and I think I caught it. I’m nit sure though I’m still new to owning ducks

    Limping

Here’s some pictures. My backyard has some terrain and concrete that she likes to walk on sometimes so I assumed that her foot was like that on the bottom because of that.

    Limping

Hello, my Pekin duck of 18 weeks just recently started limping. There are no signs of anything wrong on her foot and she still roams and swims. Whenever she gets the chance she will pull it up so she doesn’t have to rest on it. I’m not sure what happened and I cannot afford a vet. I’m giving her...

    Ducks too attached

The reason I can’t let them scream outside is because I have neighbors that would get annoyed. I let them cry in my room though.

    Ducks too attached

Hello so I have two pekin ducks and I love them a lot but I’m afraid they’ve become a bit too attached to me. Every time I leave them by themselves even for 2 seconds, they scream their heads off. I have been trying to get them used to their coop for weeks but I can’t keep them in there...

Is it possible that they’re warmer because they have new feathers coming in? Kinda a layers thing?

    My duckling is honking??

I can’t record a video unfortunately because my phone is broken. They have nose deep water and their food is chick starter. I just recently bought them a chick starter that has protein in it that I’m going to start using. I do need more niacin though.
