Hello,
What is a good bedding for ducks in a duck coop. In my chicken coop the chickens have a concrete floor (its really easy to maintain) covered in pine shavings. Can I uses the same thing for the ducks?
Thank you,

Hello,
I have been reading up a lot on ducks. I am planning to pick up 8 after my coop is finished. All the articles say that the ducks need to have a waterer deep enough to submerge their head and keep their mucous membrane moist. Where is the membrane and what is its purpose?
Thank you,

Hello,
I currently have a flock of 10 chickens. The feed store just started chicks last week and they have ducks! However, I have never raised ducks, only chickens. What do they require; space, feed, water, etc?
Thank you,

Hello,
I am currently building a "Log Cabin" Chicken Coop. We live in a forested area with lots of trees. I am using Pine and Maple for this coop. The logs are heavy, my largest logs are 7ft 5in long and have a diameter of 5-6in and the forested area where I am harvesting logs is quite a...
Question; Some of the logs that I am cutting for the coop are large and heavy, 7 ft 5 in length and 5 in diameter. Is there an easier way to lift them?
Husqvarna is the best, I considered getting the Stihl MS 271 Farm Boss, but I got the Husqvarna 450 Rancher off Amazon, renewed, for a better price. The saw works like a horse when it has a full tank of gas, bar and chain oil, and is correctly tensioned.
Thank you! I guess I was not looking in the right place, my fault. I do have a plan, but it is not very detailed. I think I will work on a more detailed one.
Hello Everyone,
I am building a ¨Log Cabin¨ Chicken Coop out of the logs that I have harvested off of my property. The chicken coop is 7 ft 5in x 5 ft 5 in x 5 ft 8 in and the run is going to be 10 x 10 x 5 feet 8 in. I plan to put 6 chickens in the new, additional coop. Does anyone know how to...
I accidentally misidentified the kind of wood that am using. It turns out that it is maple instead of oak. Is it safe to use with chickens? I am working on the build thread.
