Hey guys đź‘‹
So I have 6 leghorns and their Man (a RIR rooster) penned in a very large kennel bc they are SOOO flighty and would constantly fly out of the run and end up on my front porch and poop everywhere. Also, I have tons of hawks and they are so tiny and white that they simply need the extra protection (their run is covered by chicken wire - I know, not completely predator proof but prevents hawks from coming in and from the leghorns using their spring loaded legs to jump out).
Anywho..... what is the cheapest and easiest way to make some chicken tunnels? I have 2 acres to work with, so space is not an issue. I just want them back to “free ranging” bc they have scratched up all their grass.
Thanks in advance!
Oh and I would like to be able to easily move them as needed.

I'm ot sure how well just "bent" wire would hold up, for a chunnel. Maybe a short distance would be ok.

My spring summer project is to build a chunnel. Still in the thinking stage though. We recently bought a rental property that came with lots of junk...one of which was an above ground pool. I saved the pool legs, thinking I might could use them as chunnel legs/supports. We also were given some heavy duty chicken wire (actually used as reinforcement of stucco).

Idea is to mount the pool legs on wood base, then put wire on frame.
