This is Miss Josephine Goose out for a stroll with her hybrid duck friend (suspected to be a Rouen/Mallard cross). He's 7 and has been a pet of theirs the whole time. -

Age of a Goose
Josephine update. She and the duck, Arnold, are getting along just fine. She's goosed him once but now finds that goosing the tall person gets a much better sound effect. She has her own swimming pool. My friends have accused me of spoiling Josephine. I don't know what they mean. Apparently... -

Is there any way to guess the age of a goose? Josephine is with her new family. L, who's had a pet duck for 7 years, told me she thinks JoJo is a young 6-9 month old goose. I felt like she was young but have nothing to base that on. In certain species of pscittacines, I know the legs will color... -
