What is this precious "ugly duckling"?

Hi guys. Sorry I have not checked in sooner, but things were hectic lately and we were camping all last week. Boy has this little guy grown! Now he is looking like a canadian goose. He is looking much healthier these days, but now I think he has angel wing!!! He has not had a good start and I am guessing this is because his lack of proper nutrition starting out. I will be reading up on the subject to find out what I can do to help him but if you have any suggestions, please let me know. If it is not raining today when I get home from work, I will take new pics to post so you can see how he is doing.

Can't wait to see pictures of your new flock member.

Just as an FYI permits are required to keep Canada Geese and they must, to my knowledge, be obtained from a domestic source (a liscensed breeder or hatchery.) "Messing" with those from the wild can carry a stiff fine -- as in thousands.

The pictures and original story may not be the best thing to be publicizing on the world wide web... or anywhere else, for that matter. Just sayin'...
