Killed two of our three B.O.'s last week.
We have repaired the weak spot
in the henhouse, but are wondering...
Does anyone in the Tampa Bay Florida area
have any 3-6 month old layers that they would
be willing to sell?
Thanks,

I have three B.O.'s. Two have nice bright red combs
and the third (who has been a broody for 4-5 weeks) comb is stunted and pale pink.
I assume it is because she is not eating properly, as I never see her come out of the nesting box.
tonight I forcibly extracted her and after settling down...
who has been sitting in one of the nesting boxes
now for at least 4-5 weeks. During which time she
laid one (1) egg! (which I took from her). We have
no roosters, and are not planning on raising any
peeps; her job is to lay eggs...I have not seen her

We bought three Buff Orphington chicks from a
shipment of 25 one day olds. They are about 6 weeks old and currently are
doing fine outside in our orchid house/chicken coop.
However, when I enter the house, the three run
toward their food then, two will stop and face each
other, jump up and...
