Updated photos. I really don’t want anything bad to happen to this guy. He is such a Rooster in the making. He already feeds the ladies and looks out for them and he’s still a young one.
Only one egg hatched out of 4. The other 3 had no growth. The one that hatched had to be assisted. Couldn’t get out of its shell. It’s a little over one month now. I’m afraid it’s a Rooster. What do you guys think of Nugget? Rooster right?
I purchased 6 hens in April of this year. One turned out to be a rooster. Has anyone had any luck with the rooster non crow collar. I hate to have to give him up. My neighbor offered to kill him for me today. He’s crowed 4 times now. He’s a 4 month light Brahma.
I still don’t know if my Light Brahma is a male or not. Was supposed to be a hen. He/She acts like a rooster. When I try to pick up one of the girls to check something on one of them they will make a little fuss and he/she freaks out and runs over. Some of the black tail feathers have a green tint.
My Brahmas aren’t doing well in the heat. Now 88 Fahrenheit. My Orpington and Rhode Island Red are soaking it up. I put ice in their water. I still am on the fence about the Light Brahma being a rooster. I guess I’m just in denial.
Yes. It’s the probiotic in it that you want. Doesn’t matter what kind. I think you should watch welcome to chickenlandia videos though. She’s a chicken educator. Has an actual company that helps people that have problems or that just need help raising backyard chickens. She has a veterinarian...
We thought we were going to have the same problem so we put a big piece of plywood up on some 2 by 4 for support and put the coop on top of that. There is space under the plywood since we have the 2 by 4 going all the same direction for water to flow
Go watch welcome to chickenlandia on YouTube. Her chicken did this and she fed it with drops on the beak with a syringe. She fed egg yolk with yogurt for the probiotics and mixed in electrolytes. Just start with yogurt and egg yolk if that is all you have. Should perk up in a day or so. I hope...
