    Straight watery/milky poop!!

I’ll start them back on it in the morning. It’s just so weird because they’re still laying and acting normal. Fingers crossed it clears it up!

    Straight watery/milky poop!!

Yes I have oxymav and clauvulox. It’s been nearly a month that they’ve been pooping like this. I did start them on oxymav because I was thinking clearly there’s bacteria, but then stopped thinking maybe I was doing the wrong thing.

No it’s winter where I am at the moment. It’s been quite cold lately so, it’s a little confusing.

    Vent gleet

It’s only in the two sisters poops. They’re from the same batch of eggs. They both had a little impact in their crops and I had to treat them to get some unwanted grass out. This is going maybe a month back I’m thinking that may be the root of the issue. Could be something else, but my whole...

A Also, could it be a stress factor? Their poops seem more normal of a night time.

    Straight watery/milky poop!!

Two of my girls have been doing poops like these for weeks. Should I treat with antibiotics? I’ve tried multiple things to try rid it, and nothings working. They’re eating and drinking fine, both laying, not lethargic.

    Vent gleet

She does get discharge when she poops. White milky discharge, sometimes a more brighter white than other times. She isn’t just leaking down her bum fluff though. Her crop is emptying over night. I don’t have any vent pics, she is very quick. That poop pic was the milky discharge it had just...

    Vent gleet

I have a girl who has had vent gleet for some time. I’ve given copper sulfate, tried thrush cream in the vent for a whole week. I’ve been giving her chlorhexidine water (recommended by another page). It seemed to slow up. I was thinking it was getting better, then today she’s done a poo with...

    Sour crop

I said her diet is pretty plain. Which means she eats her layer feed and doesn’t join in on having any treats. She eats grass when she free ranges. None of my other hens have sour crop. So it’s not what my flock is eating.

    Sour crop

My girl that had sour crop first, she’s on a pretty plain diet. I’ve never had issues with my other girl until she was impacted with grass. Nah their crops aren’t droopy or anything. I’ve been putting probiotics in their waters lately, but yeah, two days outside and their crops squishy? I was...

    Sour crop

She has a pretty plain diet to be honest. She doesn’t really like treats. She just looks at them haha. She had surgery 3 weeks ago. Just cut her crop open and let it drain and put some good bacteria in there and stitched her up. She hit her head on something and around her eye was swollen. I...

    Sour crop

Is there any remedies or post sour crop advice? I had one with sour crop, it took weeks to get rid of. She got better after she got cut open and drained, then antibiotics and nilstat. She was better, then I put her back outside and within 2 days her crop was sour again. It didn’t take long to...

    Impacted Crop

How did you get on with your impacted crop? I just recently had one. She ended up having to get cut open to get all the grass out. I was massaging for over a week. Now I’ve got another one impacted. I mowed the lawn yesterday and I suspect she’s got into too much clippings that the mower doesn’t...

    Strange poop (possible digestion problem)

They have river sand in their pen and around the entrance that they pick up. From reading I’m assuming it’s very similar to granite grit. They don’t get the seeds everyday, they get it as a treat maybe a couple of times a week. She’s on the mend, thank you! :)
