Hi , my chicken was perched on my arm and I was stroking her , she was sometimes making this noise and sometimes clucking
What does it mean :-) , she is a cream legbar
No I’m fine with it , I thought I had all female till I questioned it yesterday , I thought why does one have a high pitch scream and the other has a low pitch chirp , I thought to myself there male and female and it’s true , I don’t mind having a male 😄
Hi I’ve got 2 call ducks which when I got them I was told they were both female , now that there older one has a really high pitch scream and the other one has a croaky silent scream , which makes me believe that one is a female and the other is a male.
Idk if you can tell by the colours...
I have put a feed and water station at either side of the run , the run in big enough too , the attacks are like biting , when my Indian runner duck x khaki Campbell goes to eat , the duck goes for the neck or the wing , then holds on for a few seconds then let’s go. It’s not all the time just...
I have 2 female call ducks and 2 other female ducks (saxony & Indian runner x khaki Campbell)
The 2 call ducks seem to attack the other 2 ducks when they are in the food or water
Is this some sort of pecking order or is it just attacking for no reason?
2 ducks and 3 legbar chickens , there not often it’s just when there in space , I will extend the run soon so they have more space to roam , i don’t let them out due to there being magpies in the area
Hi I put my legbar chickens and call ducks together, they seem to be fine except from a few attacks from the call ducks here and there , it’s not constant but it’s happens when they get close sometimes. What should I do , should I leave them? , this is them
Hi got 2 call ducks and 3 legbar chickens , the call ducks hiss and try to attack the legbar chickens so I remove the ducks before anything else happens but I want them to live among each other , what should I do ?
