Hi what does this noise mean ?

Hi my chicken makes this funny noise everytime I pick them up , what does it mean -

It's a very common sound my chicks make when being scooped up. I believe it to be a sound of protest or a "Hey, what's going on?".

It sounded just like one of my hens. I always think she is saying: "what do you think you are doing! Put me down immediately! How terribly rude of you to just pick me up like that!"

She seems completely incensed that she would be "moved" like an object without self-determination, instead of allowed to go where she was headed. (Usually headed to do mischief in her case)
