I have a brahma rooster always sitting next to her broody flock mate. One time i tried to move him away to see his reaction and he immediately gets back to the hen and makes the broody mama noise. He stays with her day and night. Only comes out to eat. Also, this is the first time for my buff...
my brahma pullet just turned 5 months old. she hasn't laid yet. Can someone help me and tell me why she’s standing? She’s active and can walk normally after getting up but its a struggle for her to go to the normal stance from the standing stance.
Curious on the blue/lavender down feathers. Can someone tell me more about this? does she carry a lavender or a blue gene? also, is it possible to get blue buffs from her?
Thank you for this. i have decided to get a couple isabel chicks instead since they far more cheaper than the breeders plus I enjoy watching them grow from chicks to giant fluff balls
I am planning to buy an Isabel Brahma but I can only afford one at the moment. Should I get the Hen or the Rooster? I have Light and Buff brahmas and I intend to breed them with an isabel until I can get my hands on another one so I can get pure chicks.
