I'd actually vote cockerel, darker wings.
Brahmas are slow to mature, comb and waddles may not tell all

Buff brahma cockerels have a small red mahogany patch on the wings at this age. This is a stock photo.

Yeah, pretty sure we'd be seeing a hint of saddle feathers and a tad more color on the face and wings, along with suspicious growth. She does not look suspect to me at all and I have had more than my own fair share of Buff Brahma hand wringing. I'm pretty confident she is a she. Nothing flags me otherwise.
Personally, I notice attitude b4 anything else. Pullets are sweet and shy.... cockerels... especially Buffs, tend to have a pretty dorky streak Enjoy! Sweetest little birds ever

I agree with you! A cockerel would have much redder comb and wattles at this age, along with sex feathering! Brahmas are slow to mature but not that slow
