Her poop is normal, mushy/solid (normal chicken poop). She is a sapphire splash. Shes the one in the back of this picture

My one year old hen is staying away from the flock. She has always been the "leader of the flock" and bossing them around, causing fights etc. Today is the second day she has been staying away from the rest of the flock. She has been hesitant to eat, staying in the back corner of my coop, and...

None! I'm talking about meat from large chain companies. The meat that I saw at the store had preservatives in it so I buy from local butcher shops now and make sure they don't have anything added to them.

Australorps. Most hawks leave them alone because they think they're crows. They're also surprisingly fast 🤣

I'll get a picture of the next label I find with a preservative on it. I don't buy meats from the dollar store, as the closest one to me is an hour away and I didnt see meats their last time I was in there. I buy all of my meats from a local butcher shop :)

Yes, some of them (most of the links I posted) do say yes to uncooked rice but I am finding links that also say "no" to uncooked rice!

And sometimes I do pick up meats that say USDA, FDA ect. and it has preservatives in them. So I guess just make sure it doesn't have any weird ingredients or preservatives in them before feeding it to your flock :)
