    My EE 'Cooper' laid her first egg....LIGHT TAN!!! I am so disappointed. She has all the Americana characteristics: big muffs, beard and slate legs. I so wanted a green egg. Oh well, they will taste great.

    It's been raining so hard I didn't hear a thing! Cooper is the EE and she's my special girl. (don't tell the others). I was hoping for a nice green/blue one from her. Guess once the other two start laying I may find out.

    I don't know where you live but have you been to some of those 'shelters'? IF you can get in, they aren't safe. Why not leave a note for them, explaining your rules and that you'd like them to come talk to you so you could work out the ground rules, and perhaps have them help you raking out...

    Pet names that are just plain weird?

    My dog's AKC registered name is Summerwinds Anutara Gossip Column and her call name is Scandals. Her dam's name is Secret and her sire's name is Gossip - so when you tell a secret to a gossip you get: A SCANDAL! (us dog show people can be a little strange)
