It's been 11 years since we moved states to a city that frowned on backyard chickens. Then came kids and we were just too busy to think about it.
But last year we moved to a new city (Rio Rancho, NM) and have room and time to think about starting our new flock. So back to backyardchickens.com...
17 gauge Stucco Netting. Its like chicken wire on steroids.
3' x 150' roll is $64 + tax. Only carried in stores where Stucco houses are common.
Check with your local Home Depot to see if they can get some in.
The web site gets mad if your "My Store Location" does not carry it.
But ask the Pro...

Can deliver in around Central Oregon for gas money
I went to see a few coops today on a coop tour.
One of the stops had these for sale: Just for perspective this is the smallest garbage can on wheels I have ever seen.
The "run" is about 36" long x 16".
"This is good for 2 chickens." they told me.
$160.00 US
I started a new job a month ago so have been too distracted and busy to keep up with BYC.
But when I left we were getting a page maybe a page of new posts a day.
Today we have 4 and a half pages! Just in this topic alone!
ETA: new Pics !
Added some paint, inside and out. There are 31 chicks in the brooder inside the coop. Soon the plastic will come off the open window end. Next week we will start on the first of 3 runs.
These are just a few pics I took with my phone. I will be creating a full build out web...

I would beat them up on the price a bunch since you have to move it yourself.
Looks like something I have seen from a BYC member. Yep, here it is from yolknaround
Solid construction. I would make an offer if I needed a new coop...
I decided to start this post after reading this post:
No offense meant but I would have to gently disagree with this. The only cost that a person has a reasonably large chance of HAVING to shell out significantly for is safe run fencing, but you can make a pretty good daytime-only run for half a...
Changing out water for the rabbits every 3 hours got old fast.
I had an extra cookie tin heater so I rigged it under my Bunny Well water pans.
Currently have a 40W bulb in it. Working fine in about 20 deg today. The ends have a bit of ice build up.
Need a light for checking on the coop, camping and everything else?

I ended up with a bit of a surprise Saturday morning.
We just got our first rabbits on Monday.
Saturday, I was sleeping in. DW came in and said she was worried about one of our new rabbits. "There is fur all over the cage!" (she had not dome any reading about them yet.)
I shot out of bed and...
Seems like some folks think feeding raw is expensive.
Just thought I would share where I get food for my dogs.

Doug lives about 30 min away from me. Great guy.
My two dogs have been eating beef from Doug for over a year.
Looks like I will get to build a coop for my mother in law.
She wants a walk-in coop and plans to have 8-10 Hens. (before chicken math)
Currently we are thinking about the coop in the Dummies book.
Just wondering if anyone has comments or tweaks for this coop?
I know that she does want me to...
Well the coop is almost ready. Pics to come soon.
Now I need to find 4 adult laying hens.
Adults because I really do not want to spend a bunch of money on brooding stuff.
We are limited to 4 by city ordinance.
So the question is where can I get some hens?
We live in Central Oregon BTW.
Would...
