She is 4 months old now and growing like a weed. She is very tame and friendly. Had her first hoof trim without even being held.
She looks like her sire. He is 20+ years old. This is him.
Sounds just like my Jack Russell, Bob. He too would bolt and be gone if given a chance even though he obeys very well in the house and in his yard. We got an invisiable radio fence, no wire to bury. I trained him to it for a couple of weeks, been usung it for 5 years now and it works great...
He is so handsome! And looks proud of his winnings. Looks like you both had a great time. JRT's are such fun little dogs. Even the UPS guy likes Bob, my JRT. Congrats.
Thanks. We have not had a pointer/hound before and he is a sweet and fun little guy. My other 2 were free too. Yes, dogs are usually free for a reason. Bob the JRT's mother was found by someone while she was pregnant and they just wanted to place the pups as soon as they were old enough...
Someone came here to get a turkey and she had just been to a poultry sale. Someone at the sale was giving puppies away and there was 1 left and she took it to rehome. Well he was in a crate for the turkey so she took him out for my husband to hold while she found a box for the pup, well...
Star Fish has light hoofs with black stripes. On the site Akane listed that's a trait of silver dapple. The blue roan has black feet. Guess we'll have to wait and see. I'll post new pictures when she sheds. Thanks all!
Thanks All!! She is only 3 days old. I would like if she is a blue roan!! Silver Dapple is okay, but I have 2 already and something different would be great. I call her Star Fish, her mother is Sun Kitty, and Her father is Uncle Markus. I also have Romeo (Markus' nephew) and Moon Doggie.
Her mother is a bay roan, out of a sorrel and by a blue roan. Her father is a silver dapple and so was his father. Don't know fathers's mothers color.
I'm guessing silver dapple. She was just a few hours old in the picture.
Update ... She is 4 months old and I guess definate silver...
When I sold my 200+ pound half wild older Nubian buck the buyer came in a small/mid size car. He asked me to lead the goat in the back seat/floor of the car. The guy tied the goat, told his wife to get in back and put her legs over the goat and they took off. And they had a 2 our drive to...
I got a few Ringneck and and Red Golden Pheasants last year. They are laying well now. I am gathering them for incubating. How long should the pheasants lay if I don't let them sit?
