I have been having mice in my chicken feed but they were just field mice. The cage is about 5 feet off the ground and at least 2.5 feet away...

    well a bag of gamebird starter is about $18 dollars here in Montana. I buy chicken pellets for about $15.

    My egg turner(1611) hova-bator is really loud, how do i fix this?

    I have had a hovabator incubator(1602) and a hovabator egg turner(1611) for about 6 months and now the turner is getting really loud. I just sounds like a motor running, but when i first got it it didn't make a sound. How should i fix this?

    Quail Housing

    If you are not going to breed them then you will not need a male. That enclosure will be really big for only 5 females. If you are just wanting eggs then I would suggest coturnix quail.

    If I had an incubator like that i would try to order from several breeders and pick the one with the best eggs and birds and the best service/price.

    Yes i am pretty anxious too. I ordered 24 jumbo cots eggs and 12 blue breasted buttons eggs. It's been two weeks, but i think the buttons are the cause. I should have told her to send them separately as they became available.

    We just pluckled a turkey and we didn't pluck it right so there are like 70 leftover quill tops in the skin. How should i remove them. I was doing it with a needle nose pliers and its hard work is there any other way.

    i just aquired a mallard hen from a friend that is moving and she is laying eggs still. i have had her 2 days adn have gotten 2 eggs. to bad the male had dissapeared a couple weeks ago or i would incubate.

    I tried doing the milk cap but they just keep knocking it over and my mom put a waterer in the pen and 2 of the babies drowned. So where can i get a suitable waterer for quail chicks?
