Thank you!!! A lot of people seem to think Production rouens have trouble breeding and aren't very productive! Mine are extremely productive I kept back 10 females last year. Hatched 75 for myself, sent out atleast 50 eggs and threw away another 200+. They also get around fine, just an extra...
I actually have 3 different lines of Rocks I have Terry Britts breeding, Jeff Halbach, and Glen Holderson whom died about 10-12 years ago from AZ. Glen Holderson started his line in the 70s with White Sports out of Ralph Sturgen's (Sp?) Barreds.
I would consider them Show Quality as the cockerel has won Champion American in a class of about 30+ and the Hen in the first photo has also won Champion American as well.
Ok, Ill have to Ask Suzann as I havent talked to her since I got them. She said I was getting a later hatch Cockerel, I didnt think he was that young but that what I thought she said. Or maybe the pullet is a late hatch. Ill email her.

Here is a little better tail photos... She doesnt take very good photos. Her size actually isnt too bad, No white rock, but she has nice size. I need to get a photo that shows her size better.
One of my Cubalaya hens I hatched last year, I had culled down to one male, Which was very stupid, and lost my cock-bird! Jim Zook is helping me out with a new cockerel this year.
Ok! You know as well as I do... These birds I have are projects,... I have a male from Walt, Whom wont take a good picture for the life of him, that is awesome. He should help me out.
I have had many different breeds of Geese but I raise Show Quality Brown Africans. They are not loud at all. A lot of people like to say Africans are loud because most of them actually own chinas or Production Africans. Real Africans are NOT loud.
