Thanks guys. I will have to wait a few months now to see how she colors out. I'm hoping it's a GC because I already have enough EEs as it is right now .

I have some LF OEG that are the same size and age as her but her feathers are much longer than the OEGs are. Could this be a Golden Campine or an Egyptian Fayoumi? The more I look at her I think she might be an Golden Campine from the pics I've seen online.
Edit: Wrote I thought she was...
My neighbor got a couple of chicks a few weeks ago and got this as his rare breed chick from McMurrys. He gave it to me because it was at the bottom of the pecking order and was always hiding trying to avoid the other chicks. It looks like a non-bearded EE but I need your opinion on it.
Thank you for your responses. I guess I will have to wait and see what happens with feeding them extra calcium. Hopefully it doesn't turn out to be something serious.
They are definitely not debeaked. The one that is the best off only has a very small part of it's beak missing. The other three are in the middle. Would calcium help any in a situation like this?
I got a couple of chicks from Cackle Hatchery three weeks ago and noticed something strange today. All of the sumatra chicks I have (five) have part of their beak missing. It couldn't be because of the quality of the diet because all other 11 chicks are doing very well with the medicated chick...

Yeah the second one is a rooster.
My question is how often do they sell mixes in the hatchery and is there a specific breed that has a crest that looks like this? I think I might want to buy some more chickens with a crest like this. They look sort of like my classic old frill pigeon...

I suspect she is not a legitimate breeder. Looks like another mixed breed roo, who definitely needs some extra protein and TLC.
Yeah he was in pretty rough shape but 5 acres of new free range land should fix him right up . He mostly looks like in a rough shape because the hens were...

She is around 4-6 months old and still hasn't started laying. I was thinking the exact same thing about the beard and she's 3/4 the size of the others. As for being a rooster.....I really don't know.
Well this hen was sold to me as an araucana hen but I'm pretty sure it's not. I'm also pretty sure it is not a mix because the lady who sold her to me hates to mix different breeds. This hen has a small crest on the back of her neck and that is the only thing that I think would help identify...
Thank you so much for your replies. I would have never guessed he was an american game. I was thinking he was more of some type of asian game because he is heavy set but if you've had them before then you are sure to be right.
Hi there. I purchased this rooster along with some other chickens from a very nice old lady the other day but never bothered to ask her what type it was. Well long story short she moved and now I don't know who to ask. I am sure he is some type of game rooster because she had him separated from...
