Here is a picture of Sumeer - He was supposed to be a she. While I would love to keep him - our Borough doesn't allow him. He is 14 weeks old, and in the last week just started crowing. I was even thinking maybe he was still a she until he picked his favorite girl and took her. I am not sure...

Last Saturday/Sunday my babies were born - from two dozen eggs 9 beautiful chicks hatched. This was my first time and all the many posts of advice, plus my own few frantic posts answers with answers were a godsend!

I am so new to this - Ive been reading threads to get ready for my first hatch. We plan on driving to a farm this weekend to get a dozen eggs. My daughter and I are so excited - my DH thinks we are crazy!
