One of my chickens... a black sexlink is starting to get a pretty greenish tinge to her feathers. I thought sexlink meant that you can tell sex by the color. And I guess I thought that green feathers meant roo??? Ugh I keep getting roos. I am so confused.

I don't think that one is food grade because it is only 85% DE if it is the one I am thinking of.

Anyone ever have this??? She sounds like a duck or even better a goose. She does it when she is trying to get the other chickens to do what she wants. She is really loud. its so weird.

Well we didnt have red mites but we had bird mites in our house last year... before chickens BTW. This will sound crazy but Lysol worked great. I found that info on a google search. It took us about 5 days. Washing everything in HOT HOT water. Showering 2-3 times a day. We also sprayed tea tree...
