My oldest birds will be 4 months old next week and the younger ones are 3 months next week. The younger birds will not use the coop. They just curl up in one big ball in the duck house.

I have 5 white leghorns and there are a couple of them that will lay on there side and stretch there necks out and lift one wing. Is this something to worry about??
How do you tell what you have? I am a first time parent here. I bought 5 White leghorns (thats what I was told) a few weeks ago. I was told they are 4-5 weeks old now. How old do they have to be before you can tell if the are a roo or not? Please help. Thanks
