I am building my first coop her in Memphis! Here's progress so far!

Does anyone have a favorite farm or hatchery for WL pullets? I am looking to start a small backyard flock primarily for egg production. The max herd size for Memphis is 6 hens.

I have a small folded paper towel in there moistened to add humidity. I took it out today. Humidity was up to 71%! When humidity gets back down below 50%, I plan to put a less moist paper towel in there with a 50/50 water vinegar mix. Is that too much of a smidge?

This is TOTALLY trial and error. I was actually planning to build an incubator, when I saw this little item in a box of baby stuff. A light bulb came on... just not in my box incubator... I am just monitoring day-by-day.
