This is the one you probably wanted.
My notifications must have stopped when this got moved. I went looking and it was gone. Thankfully I thought to check the duck forum.
You're doing such a great job with him! Just remember to keep it MOIST.
Just breathe. Apply the ointment and that should last for a few hours. You have time on your side. Just keep thinking about how to get to the store. No need to rush anymore.
Take a few minutes to just breathe. Everything will be okay. Apply the Terramycin ointment and try your car again after you take 5 minutes for yourself.
You want the equivalent of plain Neosporin. The dollar store should have their brand right beside the name brand stuff. Make sure it DOES NOT contain pain reliever. Get a few tubes. You will be applying A LOT at a time.
The Terramycin (middle tube) will work for now, once the wound is clean and patted dry.
It will not last long though. You will need to get some antibiotic ointment to use once that is gone. I would imagine this wound will use up that entire tube.
Do not use the Triamcinolone.
No stitches. No super glue. No baby oil.
Is there any way your parents can take you, or go themselves, to a Dollar store? They should have everything you need.
I'm struggling to stay awake. Running on 2 hours of sleep.
@Wyorp Rock, can you take it from here? I think culling would be best option here. Can't really see the extent of the wounds from current photos though.
If you're going to wash it, do not use peroxide or hand sanitizer. Trim feathers back to get a good look at the injuries first.
Instead use Chlorhexidine, diluted Betadine, saline, or plain mild soap and water. Pat dry and apply LOTS of plain triple antibiotic ointment.
I personally think...
