You want the equivalent of plain Neosporin. The dollar store should have their brand right beside the name brand stuff. Make sure it DOES NOT contain pain reliever. Get a few tubes. You will be applying A LOT at a time.

The Terramycin (middle tube) will work for now, once the wound is clean and patted dry. It will not last long though. You will need to get some antibiotic ointment to use once that is gone. I would imagine this wound will use up that entire tube. Do not use the Triamcinolone.

Now that feathers have been trimmed back, I agree that the wound is not nearly as severe as it first appeared.

No stitches. No super glue. No baby oil. Is there any way your parents can take you, or go themselves, to a Dollar store? They should have everything you need.

I'm struggling to stay awake. Running on 2 hours of sleep. @Wyorp Rock, can you take it from here? I think culling would be best option here. Can't really see the extent of the wounds from current photos though.

Worth a shot to at least trim back feathers to get a look at the damage. I would do that now though.

If you're going to wash it, do not use peroxide or hand sanitizer. Trim feathers back to get a good look at the injuries first. Instead use Chlorhexidine, diluted Betadine, saline, or plain mild soap and water. Pat dry and apply LOTS of plain triple antibiotic ointment. I personally think...

Is it still actively bleeding? Can you tell if any vital structures have been affected? This may be a cull situation.
