Agreed...but can the duck survive it?If you're going to wash it, do not use peroxide or hand sanitizer. Trim feathers back to get a good look at the injuries first.
Instead use Chlorhexidine, diluted Betadine, saline, or plain mild soap and water. Pat dry and apply LOTS of plain triple antibiotic ointment.
I personally think this is beyond patching up.
