Today is a sad day. It's day 22 on incubation.. none hatched. Opened up one to find a dead chick. The temp has been hovering around 35.8. not the best. Buyin a new incubator. I hate mine... Just found it also leaks :( -

Hi, So, my quail are on day 15 in the incubator, and I have the bad incubator, but had a $75 limit on one. the temp has been 115 f this whole time and just realized 'cuz we put an actual thermometer in it? will the eggs die? The incubator won't let me lower the temp. -

Lock down day! When should they start hatching? We have to fly to salt lake Monday for a few days and don't want to abandon chicks in the incubator :( -

Had a heart attack this morning!! ( not for real.. but felt like it) went outside, to see the tarp on top the quail cage was fully off! thankfully.. I guess they felt safe, and just acted as nothing happened! none flew away. -

Sometimes I think it is! I've learned a lot of things on here! We got 14 eggs in the past 2 days! not many to some.. but a lot for me! saying we only have 11 girls. -
