    Bake the pound cake in the recipe section. It uses 10 eggs but I often will use 12.

    I don't use a needle. I have one of those long twist ties that came around stereo wire. I made a loop and pulled the ribbon through then treaded the wire from one whole to the next. Some I looped the ribbon over half a toothpick, put the toothpick into the egg hole and gently pulled the ribbon...

    Duck eggs are waxy and goose eggs have a different texture. You have to sand a little first to get things to adhere properly.

    The mod podge will smooth out as it dries. I coat it on with e fine brush and leave it.

    The tulip brand seems to be the least desirable for me. Very hard to rub off.

    Lesser made, stamped plastic sells for $5.99 at most any store. If you can get $7 go for it. The eggs are not free and neither is the work or supplies to create a 'green' ornament.
