    There is a new water soluable sulfa being used in some farms. It is FDA approved for horses, but has been used very successfully in pigs, turkeys and chickens. (they put it in the water) ask your vet about Equisul-SDT by Aurora Pharmaceuticals :-)

    Thanks for all the advice. I had curtains but they pulled them down, so I will need to put them back on.... good idea. I did put some fake eggs in, seemed to tick them off LOL, the plopped them right out! I had some powdered kitten formula and powdered goats milk from when I was bottle feeding...

    The shells vary. My younger ones are super hard and the older hens are softer. They have oyster shells, get a layer mix and in the winter I give them scratch with BOSS... sometimes a block too. What did you use for extra protein, a supplement? I am not sure if she is motling or not, sure...
