    So I have to get my broody's separated from the others, today I found a broken egg under broody with eggs that are at about day 11... Looks like a toe went thru shell and yolk! I was so upset!!!! Curiosity won over and I opened the egg thinking that surely the baby would be dead, but it wasn't...

    So tonight we candled the eggs that have been under broody for 10 days, we found 4 out of the 15 that were clear so we removed them leaving her with 11, so fingers crossed they do well! Going to wait until the weekend to candle the silkie and frizzle eggs that are under broody #2 when they are...

    Q Incubator/broody question.... We have 2 broody hens currently, I'm worried about the eggs under them because I think we let them have too many (they each have 14). Should I just take a few away and toss them? Or can I still put them in an incubator if I go get one? They've been sitting 1 week...

    So, a couple questions.... Broody ends up with extra eggs when she gets up... One broke in the nest and got on eggs she's sitting on.... What do we do? Should we start over? Only 3 days in.... Also I want frizzle eggs.... And silkie, anyone have any for sale? Thanks!

    Broody question...so our "snuggles" started sitting yesterday, was going strong at bedtime so we gave her a few more eggs. This morning she's up and outside with the ladies and green jeans... Go check the coop and a different chicken was on the nest! Now this little darling has all her feathers...

    Help, I have limping chicken. I can't see that anything is wrong with her leg/foot except the limp. Don't know if the rooster was too hard on her, dog chased her or something else... Any thoughts? Or suggestions what I should do? Thanks!!
