I got mine from there last year. Six Belgian D'Anvers and three EE bantams. Lost everybody but 1 EE. One of the Belgians was a crossbeak also. Lost most of them at 3-4 months old one at 6 months old and 2 were day olds. The EE's were not bantams they sent standards and already lost 2 at 1 year...
I've lost 2 of my EE's so far this summer. I would like to get more this spring. Thinking about Ideal Hatchery. Where do the rest of you get yours with all the different colors, blacks, whites, blues etc.?
My EE Sage has a pendulous crop and I ordered her a crop bra, and believe it or not she started laying her blue egg again last week. She will be 2 years old in May and the rest started laying in the fall all but her of that year. My guess was because of her crop problem. The bra lifts the crop...

Question. I lost my only rooster recently that free ranged all the time, he was a stray. We are adding on to the run and moving a coop out to house some bantams. One is a silkie rooster the other 3 are hens. Should he have his own pen? I don't do any breeding. I have 6 EE's in one pen, 4 EE's...
These are my new babies. The 2 white I was told part Ameracauna and Polish? The speckled one is a true bantam not sure of breed. Got them from a farm. Lost most of my D'Anvers from the hatchery.
I don't have any baby pictures to show on site just grown ups of these girls. I have 3 photo albums of these monkies. Looking at their baby pictures, I had three chipmunks which are now that golden with black penciling. One is more gold with less black, Gretta the one in the picture has a...
Trust me it is pink all the way thru. Thats why I took the picture, somebody else was questioning. I remember reading somebody else's post that they got lavender eggs. Wish I had that. I love purple.
Gretta thanks you. She is a little fiesty. Her and her sister Paige, Paige more so, sad to say, are feather pickers. I got some pick no more lotion and spray coming. Don't know whats causing it. Just started up late spring. They have plenty to eat and I keep 2 waterers. This is for 6 hens...
My first EE laid her egg at 5 months old, so thats about 20 weeks old. It was a green one and found it on the bottom of the coop on Halloween. I just got home from my uncles funeral a very emotional day so of course I cried. I lost my daddy 4 months before my uncle. Wish he could have seen it...
