Hi Don, Just to clarify, are you saying that wheaten Marans in general are better quality? or that the wheaten will be better quality if not diluted by blue? I guess the genetics confuses me a little on this.. I would think of blue as being Bb.. has to carry recessive.. two little bb is splash...

I'm so happy I found a thread on Wheaten Marans! This is a question that may have been asked already, but going through the 88 pages is a little daunting for the time being :-)... Is it ok to combine the genetics of the wheaten and blue wheatens? What I mean is, would it be desirable/undesirable...
