He may just be one of those goslings that doesn't make it through. Are you sure he's getting enough niacin? Is the water deep enough to put his whole head in?
I agree. That goes for ALL my animals, dogs, geese, whatever. My gander Kiwi wouldn't dare come after me because anytime I thought he was being too pushy I would pick him up and walk around with him.
During a hockey tournament last week a male Canada goose came after me! When he reached to...
Check their bills, feet, eyes, and wings. They'll be a bit wobbly at first but you'll be able to tell if they have real problems pretty quickly. Don't keep them on slippery surfaces so their legs don't splay out. Make sure they're drinking, all of my goslings drank water as soon as I showed them...
What do you mean? Products? Equipment? Living space?
If you mean products- I suggest the feeders you can find at Tractor Supply, for water I would use a small-medium sized bucket that they can dunk their whole heads in to clean their nares and eyes.
A large kiddy pool is great for bathing...
While I agree it is irresponsible owners not controlling their dogs, it is somewhat of the "dogs fault". I feel.. VERY.. strongly about this, so I wont start something here but we can PM if you want, would love to hear your opinion

Can we refrain from calling it a Pit Bull? It most likely was not an actual pit bull, probably a mutt with a big head. I'm disgusted any owner would let their dog loose, but breed really has nothing to do...
Nope. That's just how some geese are. Geese really don't "like" any other species than their own, they will and do fight with other species all the time
And that's awesome about the mountain lion, we have bobcats or Lynx here, not really where I live but I have friends who have them get stuck under their houses. Our big predator is the coyote and occasionally a fox. And don't forget about the vultures...
I shot a vulture off the roof with a...
Coyotes can jump high, they can scale 6'+ walls and fences. I actually saw one in my yard this morning! Strange, thought about this thread. Sent Moose out and he scared it off.
Glad to hear they're releasing predators. Lots of studies proving that ecosystems thrive with active predators.
We have a ton of coyotes here, we have fields and farms on three sides of us so they're all over. Every once in a while they come in the yard. Good thing they don't get any bigger...
