    My hatch is done... Started with 71, locked down 61 and hatched 51. Hmmmm.... 10 must be my un-lucky number. All chicks are healthy, fluffy and already eating and drinking. I did not read ALL the post I missed today. Over 30 pages.

    You CAN see the chicks shadow in the air sac when they are internally pipped. No....don't candle during lock down and yes, you will hear them cheeping. 1 chick out 6-7 more pips from an assortment of eggs, I will more have chicks tomorrow. My first chick out is a Porcelain D'Uccle...

    Locked down around 1pm. 3 pips. What is going on ? Eggs pipped last night and locked down last night....eggs pipped now on day 17 &18 ??? Dickey Cabinet...dry incubation...running at 99.5 - 99.8. These babies are in a rush ! Let the hatching begin !!

    Good Morning.... Did my final candle last night and I also have a pip...that is now zipping. It is a Porcelain D'Uccle from happyhensny. Also saw another internally pipped. So plugged in the Brinsea and moved all the PD's over, then plugged in the Genesis and will move the rest of the eggs over...

    Went to a local auction Sun. There were 3 ADORABLE 6-7 week old Emu babies. I sat there and listed off EVERY reason why we would not be going home with them. Ignored all the begging and pleading from my kids and my mother was with us and was just no help at all. And we didn't come home...
