I have to disagree on the nasty broody duck nest. I'll take a pic when I get home of my call hens nest. It's clean hay and lined in feathers. Even my Pekin hens kept a clean nest last year when they went broody. Maybe I'm just lucky on that part.

I have never had any kind of side effects here from using fly eliminators. Pretty well eradicated the fly population here and there is 7 horses and uhmmm, maybe 100ish chickens and 25ish ducks. Add 3 dogs, 2 barn cats, and a partridge in a pear tree...

What do the ducklings look like? Pekins are yellow or pale brownish yellow. I mean very pale brownish yellow.

The funny thing about this is I had 4 polish eggs(2frizzled and 2 crele) shipped to me in the april WYGS mystery swap along with 3 buckeyes, 2 mille fluer cochins and 2 cuckoo marans and the 4 polish hatched and one mille fluer cochin hatched. The cuckoo marans both internally pipped and died...

Wanted to say also, the auction for SFH eggs KYTinpusher was the most fun box to open! each one was bubble wrapped and then stuck inside of a plastic Easter egg! I had too much fun unpacking those.

My only SFH from TNB eggs. I love the markings on this one!
