I have to disagree on the nasty broody duck nest. I'll take a pic when I get home of my call hens nest. It's clean hay and lined in feathers. Even my Pekin hens kept a clean nest last year when they went broody. Maybe I'm just lucky on that part.
I have never had any kind of side effects here from using fly eliminators. Pretty well eradicated the fly population here and there is 7 horses and uhmmm, maybe 100ish chickens and 25ish ducks. Add 3 dogs, 2 barn cats, and a partridge in a pear tree...

Wanted to say also, the auction for SFH eggs KYTinpusher was the most fun box to open! each one was bubble wrapped and then stuck inside of a plastic Easter egg! I had too much fun unpacking those.
