    If you cross pure lav with pure lav you get pure lav! If you cross pure lav with black you get black that carry the lav gene I believe...enless the black already carried the lav gene then you get lav chicks and black chicks that carry the lav gene. Im not 100% on that tho

    Iv had great hatches with my lavs I bought on ebay! It really depends on how they are packed! Eggs should never be shipped laying on their sides..always pointy end down! Also theu should never be fully wraped in anything! Bubble wrap with the ends open to let the eggs breath.

    Are you looking for hatching eggs or chicks? I get mine from a guy in Poughkeepsie NY..he has beautiful Lavs from greenfire and JC hinkey..he sells hatching eggs and chicks, altho im not sure he has chicks right now. You can try ebay, i know he sells on there as well! Just becareful on ebay..iv...

    When you go pick them up, make sure they look healthy...bright eyes..eating and pooping normal...look for mites (normaly youll see them on the face and legs if infested)..they should be out and about being active! Make sure they are not limping and check their feet. Give them a good going over...
