she is doing better, no diarrhea since yesterday morning, going to keep her on the Pediatric til tomorrow and then slowly start the goats milk, I got it today I also got some antibiotics to give her
starting tomorrow also... Yes its gotten off topic and I want to thank those for the help that...
The mother DID NOT COME AROUND FOR AT LEAST 2 days. By that time she was very weak... So I highly doubt the mother was coming back. I have checked it is NOT illegal to have one as long as you are out of the city( I am) and people I have talked to have told me to put a collar on her so she WON'T...
Like I said when she is old enought to let out I plan on putting a collar on her and let her come and go. Right now the house is the safest place for her because I live in the mountains so she would be subject to wild dogs, wild pigs and bears. I plan on having a pin built for her later.
Oh cool! He is beautiful also, I love their colors... I am lucky around here a few people have raised fawns to deer and put bright orange collars on them and let them run around. The hunters respect the collars and don't kill them... So I plan to do that because she will get too big to keep in...
Well I have raised a coin, squirrel, opossum, flying squirrel, countless dogs and a goat, the deer is new to me but she wasn't doing so hot when we got her, and I got her back to playing and so forth and she was doing so good til about a week ago when this started... But like I said she don't...
I also believe she has imprinted on me... She is up my tail so to speak ...lol she licks me all the time so I don't wear any lotion or thing like that now.
It's a replacement milk for goats, fawns, cats, dogs, pigs and all... I'm thinking of going and getting some goat milk and see if she will do better on it, no place to take her I've tried.
My daughters friends found this little one and watched her for 2 days and the mother never came back for her, so they got her and called me. ( that was 2 weeks ago) well she still only has 4 teeth so I got some replacement milk at my coop and started giving it to her, well the last week or so...
