I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure if you are in Canyon County and not in city limits that roosters are allowed. I live in Ada County and I am not within any city limits and we are allowed to have roosters. The only other thing I could think of is to make sure your neighborhood association...
I'm glad it worked out! Yes there is one other one that is poultry related that I know of, it is Idaho Chicken Hobby Hobnobbing. Another livestock related one is Idaho Heartland Homesteading, Farm and Ranch and also Livestock of Idaho and I have seen poultry postings on both.
