    I put in 4 doz. eggs. I wanted some extra just in case there may be some fertility issues like I had with the chicken eggs I had purchased lol. That and the fact most say it's really hard to hatch them. I fig I may have a better chance of getting my ducklings this way. Who knows. I put the eggs...

    Well our first hatch resulted in 17 babies!!!!!:D now we are going to try our luck with Muscovy eggs. Wish us luck lol.

    It's hard to leave it alone too. So far though 16 of mine have hatched and 2 more are trying. There was a bad smell so I had to check eggs b4 they exploded. Pulled out 5 that were dead. A few others I wasn't sure about.

    Yes. Some are taking a bit longer but hopefully will will make it. So excited. I have sex linked, silver laced wyandottes, golden laced wyandottes, and Easter eggers. Here is a pic of a few. Hope it goes through.

    Yay!!! My eggs are hatching! 12 so far out of 30. I would say pretty good for a rookie who made so many mistakes. Ugh!!! But I learned a lot and have BABIES!!!!!!

    My incubating chicks go into lockdown on Friday! I'm so excited and I hope most of then survive. Started with 48 eggs but threw out 11on day 7 (not fertile, dang rooster!!), had an egg crack and fixed it with candle wax and seems to be moving inside shell when I checked to see if it was alive...
