Honestly, the biggest sellers right now are I think Marans. Everyone wants super dark eggs. People want blue egg layers too, but most don't care if they get easter eggers or Ameraucanas. Strange too.... I thought that I would be able to sell super cute pure bred bantams... not a single...

That one close up of a pullet shows a pretty red face.... Makes me think she is getting close to laying. But, most pullets start to lay at 20 to 22 weeks.

I agree with flitter, they need more time to adjust to the totally new place. They sure look pretty though! :D

Those are some great chicken expressions that you captured! :D And don't get bummed about them not being to standard. It is VERY difficult, as in close to impossible, to find Spitzhauben that are close to standard. They are definitely a breed that is a work in progress.

I really like their looks! So many have way too much dark IMO and yours are so bright.

I don't know.....but my little D'uccle That i raised this spring, were crowing by then. Badly though, very badly.
