I’d block off the openings on the front with wood that you can remove during the summer. Leave the back vents open for air exchange and so that moisture doesn’t build up.

Oh alright, but only once I’ve finished getting the henhouse assembled or you’ll be in for a long drawn out wait.

I didn’t make a thread. Here are some pictures though. First 2 pics are the same wall with the vents open & closed. Vents are 10”x5”. Wall with clean out doors. I need to cut the doors out. These vents will have covers like the first one.

@Cryss how’s the henhouse coming along? :pop I finally started building my new henhouse. I so far have all the wood I need and 2 sides pretty much done. I need to prime and paint them though.

For the nest boxes I would suggest exterior access.

Yes Leghorns are a great breed to have in the flock! Very reliable layers.

I’ve been on break for about a month now. Doing odd jobs with a friend. I start my math course next week. :sick My chickens are doing well thank God. Both my Araucana pullets have come into lay. :wee How are you enjoying your flock?
