Finally starting my walk in coop. Want to follow?

Apologies to Eiffel 65.

Yo listen up, here's the story
About a little flock that lives in a blue world
And all day and all night and everything they see is just blue
Sky blue, inside and outside
Blue their house with a blue little window
And a blue poop board
And everything is blue for them
And the nests and even the ladder ramp
'Cause they don't want no wasps to come inside.
I'm blue da ba dee da ba daa
Da ba dee da ba daa, da ba dee da ba daa, da ba dee da ba daa
Da ba dee da ba daa, da ba dee da ba daa, da ba dee da ba daa
I'm blue da ba dee da ba daa
Da ba dee da ba daa, da ba dee da ba daa, da ba dee da ba daa
Da ba dee da ba daa, da ba dee da ba daa, da ba dee da ba daa
We have a blue house with a blue window
Blue is the color of all that we love
Blue are the nests and all the poop boards too
We have a ladder and it is so blue
Blue are the people here that painted it
Blue like our ceiling, both in and outside
Blue are the eggs that some of us here lay
Blue as the hue of the beautiful sky.
I'm blue da ba dee da ba daa
Da ba dee da ba daa, da ba dee da ba daa, da ba dee da ba daa
Da ba dee da ba daa, da ba dee da ba daa, da ba dee da ba daa
I'm blue da ba dee da ba daa
Da ba dee da ba daa, da ba dee da ba daa, da ba dee da ba daa
Da ba dee da ba daa, da ba dee da ba daa, da ba dee da ba daa

How’s the coop coming along Cryss? Almost move in ready? :fl
We had a running couple weeks of interference. We had floods and thunderstorms and torrential rains. We lost power here 3 times in 3 days but not till after the storms passed, go figure. We also had a 3 day run of high 90 degrees weather. There law were a couple days of backaches and son in law stepped on a nail sandwiched somewhere in that time frame. I did paint the nests and poop boards in the interim. Meanwhile its covered in tarp to keep dry. Son in law found a exterior storm door he is preparing to install hopefully tomorrow along with the 2 windows. Then we will paint the floor with blackjack 57, close the doors and windows, and wait 2 weeks. While waiting the roof will be sealed with...I forget. Chris knows, he's the son in law. Lastly the pop door and the tunnel/hallway/umbilicus get put in place. Hopefully those bits all get finished during the 2 weeks of floor curing. And then......we sneak the hens onto the new roosts in the new coop in the middle of their night, lock them in for a week while we paint the outside.
Whew!!! So much still to do. I told you guys in the OP it would be slow going. I wasn't lying, going even slower than I anticipated!

Excuses, excuses!

Actually, it sounds sort of Biblical in scope!

Actually it FELT Biblical! I just had to resign myself to the fact that there was nothing to be done. That included dishes, vacuuming, laundry, and coop building.

Don't close it up to tight, some air flow will be good for curing, when the weather cooperates.
The vents are wide open. Actually when I say I'm going to close it up I'm just meaning that no one is allowed inside so all the windows and the door needs to be in place so we can remove the tarp and not worry about rain while working on the roof. Windows and doors can be opened during the day when its dry weather.
