I'd love to talk the guy who lives next to my mom into bringing some eggs home on one of his trips to England...he goes over almost monthly. How nice would it be? I'm mixing Giant Cochin into some of my Orps to try to get that fluffy butt, but it's going to take forever to get the feathered...

Have you guys checked the fertile or infertile thread? It's VERY obvious when an egg is fertile. There is just a white dot if it isn't, and if it is fertile, there is a very different bullseye image- you'll see from the pics that it's really no guessing game at all- the yolk will tell if you...

Well, I'm just broken-hearted that the eggs that I got are absolutely bereft of gorgeous little chicks!! I look at the photos and just can't help but be really irritated at the PO. Just look at the fluff!

I'm cooking mine away...can't wait to add these into my Orp project. I'm looking into importing, as apparently my mom's next-door neighbor has a mum w/birds, breeder pals, and goes home to England constantly...woohoo!
