    I've got an oe priject, collected and hatched two eggs from the same hen.. the chicks are both looking like roos, so much for 50/50, lol. Even if it is a barred cross, it will be a big fluffy neat bird that hatches! Best of luck, sorry you lost your girl.

    What is the purpose of taking away a roos sperm production? If they're SOP, then no babies, if you're preserving a breed, no babies.... I'm very confused, neutering a roo?

    Yup, we've been doing all sorts of pruning and minor felling to get our natural fence posts. We finished up the last three orchard trees today, tomorrow will be a bit more harvest from the weed trees, then it's just maintaining.
