I still think the color is splash. I know Greenfire did that with the white SFH, which are actually genetically splash. I have haven't seen an all white Isbar yet.
I am in Tennessee, not as hot as TX but my two are doing just fine. There is a person on ebay that selling eggs in Comanche, TX. They might be a good person to get eggs from. Chicks aren't cheap, but the eggs have come down in price to about $5-$8 an egg for the auctions that I have been watching.
I lost two out of four that way also, or at least that is the only thing I could figure happened. It was either Cocci or the Corrid treatment. I lost them at 1 and 3 weeks and I didn't loose any of my other chicks that hatched around the same time. Anyways, here are my girls about 13 weeks. You...
How exciting! I hope your weak one pulls through! The legs on my two are kinda greenish/dark gray. I am sure once they start growing you will be able to tell. They have a really distinct look.
Just wanted to update photos of my chicks. I only have two of the four left. I lost one at one week and one at two weeks, not sure what happened.
Anyways, I think I have two females.... what do you think? They are about 7 weeks old.
I went to the store and came home to find my first blue? Isbar and one more pips so far... Why does it alway happen when you go away?... none the less I am excited! (sorry the photo is so bad, but I just wanted to share.)
