Up to 17 quail, and more on the way, finally got the one that pipped the wrong end out, doesn't look too good though. And one banty finally hatched.

Tomorrow is lockdown for me. I did the last candling of quail eggs, I somehow missed 2 infertiles the last time I candled them and found 2 DIS embryos, probly died last weekend. I'll post the final count when I set them for lockdown later tonight. Still have to candle the chicken eggs. The test...

At this point you wont see much other than dark unless you have a really good light and thin shelled white eggs. I have an ameraucana egg that I haven't been able to see in for a while. Change is good, movement is better, and no change is bad. At this point in the game you wont see much change...

Looks like I'm down one more OEGB, the one that cracked appears to have died.

So here's what I got. 8 OEG banty eggs -5 not developing 1 buff banty cochin - no development, was really hoping this one was fertile. 4 BLRW good so far 3 ameraucanas good so far started with 16, down to 10 I'll check the quail eggs this weekend.

I've got 6, makes the random spikes that one will read while the rest read normal a little less stressful.

15 days for me. I had to wax an OEGB egg last night, candled it and found a good sized crack going from the aircell to about half way down the egg. I dont know how it happened, maybe it bumped another egg during rolling. It's one of 3 OEGB eggs I know for sure is developing.

I just put in my quail eggs, I believe there's about 4 doz. in there. Some of the eggs are a little old, but have been stored cool, we'll see. I candled the chicken eggs the other night, saw veins, and embryos in the OEGB, the LF eggs are yet to be determined. Brings my total up to ~5.5 doz. eggs

I candled a couple of the OEGB eggs while rolling. I couldn't tell on one, but the other had a definitive darker spot on the yolk. This is only day 2, I wont see veins until tomorrow or the day after. Quail eggs are going in on Saturday, I have 3 dozen of them waiting now and still a few more...
